Eggnog a/k/a Eddie

Meet Eddie, also known as Eggnog! This distinguished 9-year-old gentleman weighs in at 11 lbs and is already neutered, microchipped, and house-trained. Eddie is a tiny dog with a huge personality, complete with a charming ear that has a mind of its own. He adores walks, car rides, and most of all, treats! While he enjoys his independence, he's also a fan of spontaneous snuggles and believes that all large dog beds and couches are his to enjoy. Eddie has overcome a lot and has learned to trust again with the help of his foster family. He communicates through his behavior, so he's looking for a patient and understanding human who will learn to understand his cues and continue the structure that makes him feel safe.

Ideal Home

Eddie would thrive in a quiet, calm environment. He needs to be the only pet in the home and would do best without children or frequent young visitors. Patience is key, as he needs time to settle in at his own pace.

Eddie requires ongoing medical care and a special diet.

Training & Support

Eddie has a fear-based bite history, so he needs an experienced and committed adopter who will respect his boundaries and continue his training. Consistency and routine are a must for him to feel secure. He also needs a safe space, such as a crate.
