Chip is a 2-year-old, neutered male Pit bull mix who weighs about 60 lbs. He's as sweet as a chocolate chip cookie and is searching for his forever home! Chip is a playful, curious, and loving dog looking for an experienced adopter who can provide patience, safety, and endless love. He's a certified lover boy who loves to cuddle and be around his people, always wanting to be your shadow. While Chip can be a bit cautious when first meeting new people, once he trusts you, he'll be your best friend forever!
Chip adores his people, loves going on sniffing walks (and does well on the leash), is crate-trained and potty-trained, and loves being outdoors! He's also the king of costumes and can rock any outfit with flair. Chip has done well with his foster dog siblings, who are calm and enjoy his playful nature. Chip LOVES to play and plays with all his heart. We highly recommend slow introductions to other dogs and think he would do best with calm/submissive doggy siblings who are happy to engage with him. He would also do well as an only dog if he could go on outings regularly. Chip does ask that he not live with any cats, please. Chip would happily accompany you on your outings – he is thrilled to go on car rides, go on walks out and about, and see the world with his people! At home, once he has finished his initial decompression period, Chip will go full puppy mode and play with all his toys. He has also done well around older children!
