Rio is a charming 1-year-old, 19lb Chihuahua & Dachshund mix brimming with love to give. He might be a bit shy at first, but with a little patience and a tasty treat, his affectionate and loyal personality will shine through. You'll find him playfully peeking from under blankets, ready for a cuddle session, and often sneaking around corners just to keep an eye on you. Rio is a social butterfly with cats and other dogs, though he benefits from slow introductions to larger dogs to ensure he feels comfortable. Once comfortable, he's playful and sweet.

Rio would thrive in a calm home where he can feel safe and secure. He would do best without young children. A fenced-in yard is ideal for him to continue practicing his leash walking skills in a safe environment.
