Feather

My name is Feather, and I'm a sweet and resilient one-year-old black lab mix with soulful eyes that have seen a bit of life. I was found wandering alone, hoping my first family would return, but they never did. Thankfully, I was rescued and am now dreaming of a loving forever home where I can finally feel safe and cherished. I can be a little shy at first because of my past experiences, but once I learn to trust, I have an abundance of love to give. I get along wonderfully with other dogs and appreciate patient, kind humans.

Ideal Home

I would do best in a home with older children who understand I need a slow introduction to new people. Loud, sudden movements from younger children can startle me, so a calmer environment would be ideal.

Ongoing Health

I am spayed, up-to-date on all my vaccinations, and microchipped. I'm all set to be your healthy companion!

Training & Support

Leash walking is a new skill for me, and I'm still learning. With consistent guidance and belief in me, I know I'll master it. Patience and positive reinforcement will go a long way in helping me blossom.
