Peach D6462 is a sweet and sensitive girl who is learning that life can be pretty wonderful. She can be a little shy when meeting new people, especially men, but with a little patience and kindness, she warms up and starts to feel safe. She might use her voice at first, but it's just her way of saying she's unsure, not that she wants to cause trouble. Peach really loves being around her people and feels happiest in a home where someone is around most of the time. Being left alone or in a crate isn't her favorite thing, but she's working on building her confidence. She's also a bit of a curious girl; if something tasty is within reach, she might assume it's fair game, so keeping counters clear helps set her up for success. She goes on three to four walks a day, which has been great for practicing her leash skills and helping her feel more comfortable in the world. She's proud to say she's had no potty accidents! Peach also has a dog friend who she absolutely adores. He's been helping her learn how to trust, play, and just enjoy being part of a family. She still has some playful, puppy-like energy and loves a good game-tennis balls are her favorite! At night, she's all about cozy comfort and loves being close to her people, ideally snuggled right next to you in bed, where she'll curl up and softly snore the night away. Once she feels safe, she'll be your loyal, loving companion for life.

Ideal Home

Peach would do best in a home where someone is around most of the time, as being left alone or in a crate isn't her favorite. Because she can be a bit vocal with unfamiliar noises, she'd do best in a home without shared walls.
