Meet Fernanda! This gorgeous 3-month-old Pit Bull/Labrador Retriever mix (we think!) has the sweetest amber-green eyes, an adorable pink nose, a soft caramel-and-white coat, and floppy ears that somehow make her even cuter. She has a smile that never seems to leave her face and a constantly wagging tail that's a pretty good indicator of her joyful personality. Fernanda is thriving in her loving foster home, where she lives with a young child, another dog, a cat, and her foster parents. She has embraced every part of family life with her whole heart. She absolutely adores her canine best friend, and they're often found wrestling or chasing each other around the yard. Fernanda also lives peacefully with a cat, and while she'll occasionally invite the cat to play, she's learning respectful boundaries. Her favorite people include her little human sibling, who she showers with kisses and loves to play with. Fernanda is doing incredibly well with her training, is nearly fully potty trained, and walks beautifully on a leash. When she's not cuddling, you'll find her with her beloved emotional support strawberry toy or enjoying a game of tug-of-war. Fernanda has a perfect balance of playful and peaceful, loving adventures but also enjoying quiet time beside her loved ones. She wants to be included in everyday life and would make an incredible family dog, happy in a home with children, another dog, or a dog-savvy cat.

Fernanda is doing incredibly well with her training, especially for such a young puppy. She's quiet and relaxed in her kennel, is nearly fully potty trained with very few accidents, and walks beautifully on a leash. She's gentle, easy to handle, and makes neighborhood strolls feel effortless.

Transporation
Fernanda is located in Texas and can be transported nationwide using our rescue run USDA certified transport system. Drop-off locations include WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI and Canada (pick up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters). Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area. A $87 surcharge applies due to rising transportation costs.
