Smudge

Smudge is a handsome and friendly Shar-Pei mix who is just over a year old and currently weighs 43 pounds. He was a bit underweight when he arrived, and he also needed treatment for mange and entropion eyelid surgery. Thanks to dedicated care, Smudge is expected to make a full recovery from his skin issues and can now see his new life clearly! He is a true gentleman who greets everyone like a friend and is doing wonderfully in his foster home.

Ideal Home

Smudge is a super friendly boy who is good with other dogs, though he tends to focus more on people.

Ongoing Health

Smudge has received treatment for mange and has undergone entropion eyelid surgery. He was also recently neutered. He is expected to make a full recovery with no long-term health concerns.

Training & Support

Smudge is learning to be a good traveler and can get a little queasy in the car, only experiencing drooling so far. He is otherwise an all-around gentleman.
