Micaela

Micaela is a resilient and brave Husky who, at only about 2 years old, has already overcome immense hardship. She arrived at the shelter in pain with a fractured jaw, bleeding gums, and several dead teeth due to untreated injuries. Despite her suffering, she has shown incredible strength and a gentle spirit. Micaela is also undergoing slow-kill treatment for heartworm, but she is on a safe and steady path to recovery and will live a completely normal, pain-free life. Her resilience is shining through as she leans into gentle touch and watches her caregivers with grateful eyes, learning that she is finally safe. Micaela is now ready to find her forever home, a place where she will be cherished, protected, and never in pain again.

Ongoing Health

Micaela is heartworm positive and has begun slow-kill treatment. She has also undergone a full dental cleaning and had damaged teeth removed to address her jaw injuries.
