Cookie Raya

Cookie Raya is a charming spayed female Border Collie mix, born on January 17, 2019, and weighing around 50 lbs. She has a knack for "Scent training" and is looking for a home where she can put her smarts to good use! Cookie Raya was adopted previously and, while she did wonderfully in her foster home, she was returned due to exhibiting typical herding and protective behaviors in her new environment. As a typical Border Collie, she thrives in an active setting and needs an outlet for her physical and mental energy.

Ideal Home

Cookie Raya would do best in an active home without children. She is not suited for apartment or condo living at this time. She is not good with cats and is selective with other dogs, as she can sometimes start scuffles without warning, so a home without other dogs would be ideal. Because she can be slow to warm up to new people, having a designated space for her when guests visit would be very helpful.
