Ralphie is a loyal, ride-or-die companion who wants to be your shadow, whether it's riding shotgun, supervising yard projects, wrestling, or simply lounging on the couch beside you. His foster describes him as incredibly loving and loyal, with a special bond with the man of the house, but he's equally happy soaking up attention from everyone. If you're a fan of big, affectionate dogs who don't understand personal space, Ralphie is your guy!
Ideal Home
Ralphie would do best as an only dog to receive all the attention, or with a confident, playful female dog who enjoys a rough-and-tumble play style and isn't afraid to set boundaries. He needs a home with a securely fenced yard, as he loves having space to stretch his legs and explore. No cats for Ralphie.
Ongoing Health
Ralphie is a rescue and while his breed and exact age are a mystery, he is up-to-date on all vetting, including vaccinations, deworming, flea and heartworm prevention, and is microchipped.
Training & Support
Ralphie is crate trained, potty trained, and knows commands like "sit" and "down." He's a smart dog who thrives with consistency, leadership, structure, and clear expectations. While he generally walks well on a leash, he benefits from structured walks with a handler who has some physical presence due to his size.
