Wanda

Meet Wanda! This lovely 1-year-old Akita mix is a sweet and affectionate girl who truly shines from the inside out. She's about 57.80 lbs and is already spayed, making her ready to find her forever home. Wanda loves to be loved and soaks up all the snuggles, rubs, and scritches you can give. Her golden eyes and adorable upright ears will melt your heart, and she often greets you with a sweet smile.

Ideal Home

Wanda would love a home where she can get plenty of contact with her people. Due to her tendency to jump up for attention (though gently!), a home with older children might be the best fit.

Training & Support

Wanda is a treat-motivated girl who walks nicely on a leash once she's settled in. She's very gentle when taking treats and passed her resource guarding behavior tests with flying colors. While she does jump up for attention, it's done gently, and we suspect she'll be easy to train out of this habit. She also keeps her kennel tidy, suggesting she may be easy to house train. We don't have information on how she does with cats.
