Jasper(Gemstones Litter)

Meet Jasper! This sweet, timid little guy was born on February 4th and is ready to add some sparkle to your life. He's already neutered, up-to-date on core vaccinations, fully dewormed, and has been on monthly heartworm prevention. Jasper weighs about 30.6 lbs and is eager to find his forever family. He enjoys leisurely sniff walks and playing with other dogs, but can be a bit shy initially. He's working on building his confidence and would benefit from a home that can continue his socialization with new places and people.

Ideal Home

Jasper would thrive in a home with another dog to help him gain confidence. While he's observed toddlers and is generally good with cats, a home with older children would be best to provide a calmer environment as he adjusts.

Ongoing Health

Jasper is up-to-date on vaccinations and heartworm prevention. He is neutered and fully dewormed.

Training & Support

Jasper is house-trained when taken out every couple of hours and does well with a consistent potty schedule. He's still a puppy and will chew, so supervision is recommended. Gentle redirection and trading for a chew toy are effective ways to manage this. Continued exposure to new environments and people will help him overcome his timidity.

Transporation

Jasper is currently in a foster home and can be met at our Saturday Adoption Events at Waggin' Tail Resale store (220 Joyceton Church Rd, Lenoir). Meet & Greets can also be scheduled at our Adoption Center at Waggin' Tail Resale on Saturdays from 11 am-3 pm. Additional times may be arranged based on availability.
