Courage is a 2‐year‐old Chihuahua weighing 8.3 pounds, and he's a very sweet little guy with a gentle, friendly nature. He was found as a stray, but despite that uncertain start, he has been wonderful with every person he has met here--affectionate, trusting, and eager for attention.

He has done well with other dogs overall, though he can be a bit selective around other males. With proper introductions and a calm environment, he should adjust well. Other than needing flea treatment upon arrival, our veterinary team cleared him as healthy with no concerns. His adoption fee is $300.

Because we don't observe our animals in home settings, we aren't able to guarantee whether he is housebroken.

Upon intake, every animal receives:

Spay/neuter surgery

Microchip

All age‐appropriate vaccinations

Blood and fecal testing (with treatment if needed)

Flea, tick, and heartworm prevention

A complimentary wellness exam 7-10 days after adoption

Please note that adopters must be at least 21 years old and live within an hour of our facility.
