Penny

Penny is a 6-year-old, 90-pound Great Dane mix with a big personality packed into a short stature. She's a lady who knows her worth and enjoys playing with other dogs, but only those who will let her be the queen of the castle. She's not a fan of cats and prefers a home without them. Penny is highly food and treat motivated, crate trained, and house trained. She's well-adjusted to home life and knows when it's time to relax. She has been with us for four years and is patiently waiting for her forever family. Due to a rough start, Penny is initially wary of strangers. She's come a long way with the love and care of her foster parents, but she still prefers quieter, low-traffic homes. While she can now meet guests outside and tentatively welcome them inside with patience, she's not the dog for big parties. Penny has a huge heart and loves wholeheartedly, remaining loyal to a fault. She dreams of finally giving and receiving love in a permanent home.
