Kenai

Kenai is a sweet and gentle 2-4 year old mixed breed with a truly inspiring story. She was found as a stray dragging a chain and trap. Thankfully, she was safely captured and rushed to a vet, where it was discovered she had severe injuries to her front leg, necessitating amputation. Now a brave tripod, Kenai is recovering beautifully and taking everything in stride. Despite her past trauma, she remains friendly, loving, and smart, and she gets along well with other dogs.

Kenai is ready to leave her past behind and find a loving home that will give her the happy ending she so deserves.

Ongoing Health

Kenai is recovering from a leg amputation and is learning to navigate the world as a tripod. She is spayed and vaccinated.

Training & Support

Like all rescue dogs, Kenai will benefit from continued training and socialization as she adjusts to her new life.
