Callie is a darling 2-year-old Coton de Tulear, weighing in at a petite 9 pounds. This sweet and sensitive girl is on a journey to find her confidence and is dreaming of a patient and understanding home where she can blossom at her own pace. Callie enjoys exploring the world on her own terms and will truly thrive with adopters who respect her boundaries and provide the time and space she needs to feel safe and secure. She finds comfort in the company of other dogs, so a confident canine companion is a must in her new home. This furry friend will help show Callie the ropes, model positive behaviors, and offer reassurance as she continues to adjust. Callie is already a good girl with other dogs and truly enjoys having canine friends around. She also requires a securely fenced yard where she can safely run, explore, and build her confidence in her surroundings. Callie can be a bit sensitive about handling, and our behavior team is eager to speak with interested adopters to discuss her needs in more detail and help ensure a successful match. In the meantime, our dedicated behavior team will continue working with Callie on handling and desensitization exercises to help her become even more comfortable and confident.
