A little about them

Gerdy is a sweet senior beagle and possible boxer mix who loves walks and spending time with her people. After four years in a foster home, she is back with the rescue and hoping to find a loving home for her golden years.

Gerdy has glaucoma and lost vision in one eye after receiving an injection to relieve pressure. She receives drops in her other eye to help protect it. Her vision needs do not stop her from being a loving companion.

She is not a fan of cats, but does well with smaller dogs who are calm and not looking for trouble. She is spayed and vaccinated.

Ideal Home

Gerdy would love a patient home that appreciates senior dogs and can provide plenty of affection, walks, and companionship. Her adopters should be comfortable managing her eye drops and keeping her away from cats.

Ongoing Health

Gerdy has glaucoma and is without vision in one eye following veterinary treatment. She receives eye drops in her other eye to help prevent the same issue.
