Poppy Lou the Panda Bear Sweetheart

Poppy Lou is a puppy who is sure to make you stop and say, "Oh my gosh, LOOK at her!" With her adorable panda-bear face, perfect floppy ears, and sweet expression, she's almost unfairly cute. Thankfully, her personality is just as wonderful as her looks. She's gentle, affectionate, sweet as can be, and has a soft, innocent way about her that makes everyone fall in love. Poppy Lou is approximately 8 months old, weighs around 35 lbs, and we believe she may be a Lab/Pittie mix. She's still growing and has enough sweetness to melt anyone's heart.

Ideal Home

Poppy would be happiest in a home with a backyard where she can continue exploring, playing, and growing at her own pace.

Ongoing Health

Poppy Lou is up to date on all vetting, which includes DAPP vaccines with a booster, Bordetella, and Rabies vaccine. She has also received multiple broad-spectrum deworming treatments, flea prevention, and a 12-month heartworm preventative injectable. She has been tested for heartworm, and treatment has been administered if needed.

Training & Support

Poppy is crate trained, potty trained, and walks fairly well on a leash, though she needs continued practice as she gains confidence. She is treat-motivated, knows how to sit, and takes treats gently. While she can be a little shy when meeting new people or exploring new environments, her sweet personality shines through once she settles in.

Poppy Lou is currently located in Texas. We facilitate adoptions nationwide using our rescue run USDA certified transport system, ensuring every pet travels safely and comfortably with 24/7 care. Drop-off locations include WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI. For Canadian adopters, pick-up is available in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT. There is an $87 surcharge for transportation. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
