Mary Jane, lovingly known as MJ, is a 12-year-old sweetheart who has truly found her sassiness in her golden years. This lovely senior lady has blossomed in foster care and is ready to spend the rest of her life surrounded by love, snacks, and sunshine. MJ is crate trained and does well with structure. She is still working on potty training, so she’ll need a home where someone is around more often than not, or a family who doesn’t mind using doggy diapers to help prevent indoor accidents. With patience and understanding, she continues to do her best. Don’t let her age fool you – MJ still has great energy for walks and enjoys getting out to explore the world. She absolutely loves food, and her one very special trick is sitting politely and happily following you around if you have a tasty treat to share. She gets along well with other dogs, especially ones who don’t mind her being a little up in their space from time to time. She’s deaf, which means she can sleep through just about anything – thunderstorms, vacuuming, you name it. One of her favorite activities is basking outside in the warm sunshine and drifting off into peaceful naps. Overall, MJ is a sweet old girl with a little sparkle of sass who is simply looking for a soft place to land. She dreams of spending her golden years surrounded by love, good food, belly rubs, and a warm, cozy bed.
