About Franck

Franck is a young, approximately 7-month-old Jack Russell Terrier mix who weighs about 22 lbs. He's a bundle of playful energy and a truly loving companion. Franck is a social butterfly who enjoys the company of people and other dogs, making him a great fit for many households. He gets along wonderfully with dogs, children, men, and women. Franck absolutely adores being petted and showered with affection, as human attention makes him feel safe and content.

Franck's journey to finding his forever home started rough; he was found abandoned and suffering from severe mange that sadly resulted in the loss of part of his tail. But he's a fighter! Now healthy and full of life, Franck is ready to leave his past behind and embrace a new chapter with a family who will cherish him, play with him, and provide him with the loving care he deserves.

Ideal Home

Franck would thrive in an active family that enjoys outdoor activities and has a fenced backyard. He needs a home with high tolerance and patience for rescued puppies, ideally with experience in dog behavior and training or a willingness to hire a trainer. He is not house-trained.

Ongoing Health

Franck is a healthy boy! He has received a spay/neuter certificate, DHPPI and Rabies vaccines, Bordetella vaccine, is dewormed, microchipped, and has tested negative for heartworm. He is also on monthly preventive protection for fleas, ticks, and heartworm. He has a health certificate and vaccine booklet.

Training & Support

Franck is not house-trained and will require consistent effort and patience from his new family. Understanding that rescued dogs may need time to adjust and build trust is crucial. Franck's new family should be prepared to provide a safe and loving environment, establish a routine, and set clear boundaries to help him feel secure.

Transportation

Franck is currently being fostered in Matamoros, Mexico, and is ready to travel to the East Coast on a cross-country trip. Door-to-door delivery is available for a fee of $400 USD. Transport typically occurs 3-4 times a year with a minimum of 15-20 adoptions per trip. A contracted transport company from Montana will pick up pets in Mexico, cross into Texas, and deliver them to your home. Real-time updates will be provided via a private Facebook Messenger group. For Canadian adoptions, pets will be delivered to the nearest US-Canada border.
