Granite

Hi there! I'm Granite, and while my name might sound a bit tough, I'm actually a super soft and cuddly boy looking for my forever family. I came all the way from New Mexico with my mom, who's a Pitbull mix, and my dad, a Boxer. I'm one of five pups who made the journey to Minnesota. My foster dad says I'm a real sweetheart who loves following him and my foster siblings around, just hoping for some extra pets and snuggles.

Ideal Home

I'm working hard on my potty training and usually do well, but I might have an occasional accident inside. However, I'm quick to go potty when we're outside! I'm still learning to love my kennel, but I'm happy to sleep in it at night right outside my foster dad's room. I get along wonderfully with my foster siblings, a grumpy but respected male Pitbull/Bulldog mix and a playful female Pitbull/Rottweiler mix who helps me with my play manners. I also enjoy sharing toys and give lots of kisses to the Husky and Weimaraner I share a yard with. I even met the resident cat and didn't mind him one bit! I love meeting new people and enjoy snuggling on the couch.

Training & Support

I've mastered "sit" and am learning "stay," "place," "come," and "down." My favorite rewards are treats and hearing "good boy!" I'm not much of a barker, as I don't like to "yell" at my friends. I also don't mind squirrels and bunnies I see in the yard.
