Victoria is a sweet and loving 5-year-old Husky mix who weighs around 48 lbs. She was rescued from the streets of Saltillo, Mexico, after being found hungry and thirsty. Despite her rough start, Victoria is a grateful and confident dog who loves people and enjoys affection. She has a beautiful smile and is incredibly devoted to her humans. Victoria is crate and leash trained.
Ideal Home
Victoria would thrive in a home with owners who have a fenced backyard and are active, enjoying outdoor activities like hiking and long walks. Families with experience in dog behavior and training, and a high tolerance for rescued animals, would be a great fit. She needs a patient and understanding home that can provide her with the love and guidance she deserves. Victoria is not house-trained.
Ongoing Health
Victoria arrived with severe malnutrition, which resulted in the loss of most of her teeth, with only three molars remaining. She is spayed and up-to-date on her vaccinations, including DHPPI, Rabies, and Bordetella. She has also been dewormed and tested negative for heartworm. Victoria is on monthly preventive treatment for fleas, ticks, and heartworm.
Training & Support
Victoria is crate and leash trained. She needs to eat in her crate to prevent food-related conflicts with other pets. Due to her not being house-trained, her new family will need to continue working on this.
