Buttermilk

Buttermilk is a sweet, 4-year-old Coonhound mix who has made incredible progress since coming into our care. While she started out as a very nervous girl, her personality has blossomed as she's gained confidence and learned that people can be kind. These days, she's much more willing to explore the world around her and enjoys spending time with the people she trusts.

Ideal Home

Buttermilk takes comfort in the company of other dogs, so she is looking for a home with a confident canine companion. Having another dog around helps her feel safe and gives her someone to look to when she's unsure about new situations.

Ongoing Health

Buttermilk has been spayed, vaccinated, heartworm tested, and is on monthly parasite prevention.

Training & Support

As she transitions into a home environment, Buttermilk will need a patient family willing to help her learn the ropes. She'll benefit from continued work on basic training, house manners, and adjusting to the sights, sounds, and routines of everyday life. With consistency, positive reinforcement, and plenty of encouragement, she continues to show just how much she's capable of learning.
