TATO- Needs foster/forever home!

Tato is a sweet Terrier mix who was born around 2018. He's been with us for nearly four years and is looking for a patient and experienced family to help him decompress and learn how to be a dog in a home. Tato is incredibly treat-motivated and loves to relax with his favorite peanut butter bones. While he has lived with other dogs in the past, he currently needs to be the only pet in his home to give him the space and time he deserves. His history with cats is unknown.

Ideal Home

Tato needs a quiet home with a patient family who has experience with dogs. He is not a good fit for first-time dog owners. A totally enclosed, physically fenced yard is required for his safety and enjoyment. He can do well with children 16 years old and older.

Ongoing Health

Tato is neutered, up to date on his vaccinations, and on heartworm preventative.

Training & Support

Tato is house and crate trained. He will require 1 obedience class (a 6-week session) outside the home after adoption.

Tato is located in Birmingham, MI. Adopters must live within 1 hour of Birmingham, MI. We do not offer transport outside of this area, including out-of-state or outside the U.S.
