Trout

Meet Trout! This handsome fellow somehow found himself on the euthanasia list at our local shelter. Thankfully, his amazing foster mom saw his plea for help and offered to foster so we could save his life. Trout is estimated to be around 2 years old and weighs 54 lbs. He is shockingly chill for what you might expect from his looks! While he'll happily join you for a hike, a walk, or a romp with his dog friends, his favorite activity is flopping upside down on the couch. He can be a little shy when he first meets new people, needing a few minutes to warm up. Once he trusts you, you'll have a loyal buddy for life. He's kennel trained, potty trained, walks beautifully on leash, and knows how to sit. He gets along great with all of his foster fur siblings, big and small, and he's a fan of humans too.

Ideal Home

Trout's dream forever home is one that will include him in life's adventures. Think camping trips, fishing weekends, and lazy evenings by the fire.

Ongoing Health

Trout is currently going through heartworm treatment and will be ready to transport to his forever home in mid-to-late July. He is fully vetted, neutered, and current on preventatives.

Training & Support

Trout absolutely despises taking medicine. He will cleverly spit out pills no matter how well they are hidden!

Transporation

Trout is being fostered in Houston, Texas, but is available for transport to many areas across the country. If you're seeing this post, that means he's available to transport to your area! His adoption fee is $600, which includes transport.
