Evie

Meet Evie! This happy, spunky little girl makes every day brighter with her infectious joy. Evie adores people of all ages and is wonderful with children. She also thrives around other dogs and would love a home with a playful canine companion to romp with and learn from, as having a buddy helps build her confidence and keeps her happily engaged. While a fenced yard would be a dream for her zoomies and outdoor playtime, she's adaptable enough to do well in an apartment, condo, or townhome as long as her family is committed to giving her plenty of exercise, structure, and love.

Evie's personality is the perfect blend of playful and affectionate. She loves squeaky toys, chew toys, and stuffed animals—and she's happy to share her treasures, too. When playtime winds down, she transforms into a total cuddle bug who lives for belly rubs, pets, and snuggling close to her people. She can be just a touch shy at first, but it doesn't take long for her sweet, gentle nature to shine through. Once she bonds with you, she becomes your little “velcro dog,” happiest right by your side. Evie is ready to fill your home with laughter, cuddles, and endless tail wags.

Ideal Home

Evie would love a home with a playful canine companion to romp with and learn from, as having a buddy helps build her confidence and keeps her happily engaged. While a fenced yard would be a dream for her zoomies and outdoor playtime, she's adaptable enough to do well in an apartment, condo, or townhome as long as her family is committed to giving her plenty of exercise, structure, and love. Evie hasn't had the chance to meet cats yet, so slow introductions would be best if her future home includes feline friends.

Ongoing Health

Evie is still young and has not yet been spayed. This procedure will be completed by Wags before placement. She will also be microchipped, up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, and current on her monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives.

Training & Support

Still a young pup, Evie is learning the ropes of independence and would benefit from someone being home often to help maintain her routine and reinforce all the great habits she's already started. She's both crate trained and potty trained, which gives her a fantastic head start. She's also very food-motivated, eager to please, and easily redirected—making her a joy to continue training and a quick learner in the right hands.

• Evie's adoption fee is $325, which includes her spay surgery, microchip, vaccinations, and preventatives.
• A $100 spay/neuter deposit and puppy spay/neuter agreement will also be required. The deposit will be returned once the puppy is altered.

Transporation

Evie is located within a 1-hour drive time of Wake Forest, NC. We are only considering local placement due to her young age and upcoming spay surgery.
