Sterling Bear the Certified Lover Boy

Sterling Bear is the kind of Lab you dream about! This handsome, approximately 2-year-old, 72 lb gentleman is a certified lover boy with a heart of gold. He's an easygoing, well-mannered, and incredibly smart companion who knows when it's time for an adventure and when it's time to snuggle up on the couch. Sterling Bear is the full package, blending a calm temperament with a playful spirit, making him the perfect mix of an active buddy and a devoted couch potato.

Ideal Home

Sterling Bear would absolutely love a home with a nice, big backyard where he can roam, chase squirrels, and relax in the sun. He hasn't been seen with children yet, but based on his wonderful nature, we believe he would make a great family dog.

Ongoing Health

Sterling Bear is a rescue and while we believe him to be around 2 years old, we cannot guarantee his exact age or breed. He is up-to-date on all vetting, which includes DAPP vaccines and booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad-spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, and a 12-month injectable heartworm preventative. He has also tested negative for heartworm and received a health certificate deeming him healthy for travel.

Training & Support

This smart boy already knows basic commands like "sit" and is crate and potty trained. He has wonderful house manners and is respectful in the home, carrying himself like the polite gentleman he is.

• The adoption fee is $1200, which includes all vetting, transport, and a lifetime of love.
• A $87 surcharge applies due to rising transportation costs.

Transportation

Sterling Bear is located in Texas and can be transported nationwide using our rescue-run, USDA-certified transport system. Drop-off locations are available in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, and Canada (with pick-up options in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters). You can track your pet's journey in real-time and receive photo updates. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
