Pizza

Pizza is a sweet, approximately 3-year-old tri-color Beagle who weighs about 25 pounds. She's a shy girl who was trapped by CCRT and is still learning to trust. Once she feels safe, she's easy to handle and has no adverse reactions. Pizza is leash-trained and absolutely adores other dogs!

Ideal Home

Pizza would do best in a home with a friendly, confident dog who can help her feel more comfortable with people. She can be nervous around children and tends to yell at them, so a home without young kids would be ideal.

Ongoing Health

Pizza is up-to-date on her vaccines and has been spayed. She is currently positive for heartworm, but is receiving treatment, and CCRT will cover the cost of treatment until she tests negative.

Training & Support

While Pizza is crate trained and leash trained, her house-training status is unknown. She's a shy girl who needs a patient and understanding environment to truly blossom. A confident canine companion will be a great asset in helping her gain confidence.
