Bowser and Barry recently lost the only home they’ve ever known after their beloved elderly owner was forced to move into senior living and could not bring them along. Through no fault of their own, these two wonderful dogs are now searching for a safe and loving place to land.
Bowser is an 11-year-old sweetheart who has been cherished since puppyhood. She is in wonderful health for her age and has the perfect balance of grace and companionship. She has the manners and calm confidence that come with maturity, but still enjoys life with a happy and loving spirit. Bowser is friendly and gentle with everyone she meets, great with kids, dogs, and people. She is cat tested at the shelter and did great, housebroken and walks nicely on leash. Bowser was treated for heartworm and recently had senior bloodwork completed. She has great teeth, a healthy skin and coat, and overall excellent condition.
Barry, around 3 years old, is Bowser’s younger “brother” and loyal sidekick. He is equally sweet and easy to love — playful, respectful, social, and affectionate. Barry is friendly with people and other dogs, and cat tested at the shelter and did great. He is housebroken and leash trained, gentle, social, and eager to bond with his people.
These two are classic Heinz 57 mixed breeds with the very best qualities — loving, adaptable, grateful companions who simply want to be part of a family. Both dogs are altered, fully vaccinated, and adoption ready. Bowser and Barry have shared a lifetime of love and companionship, and we would love to see them stay together if possible. That said, their safety and happiness come first, and we are willing to consider separation for the right home. If you’re looking for loyal, kind-hearted companions with beautiful temperaments and a story worth changing, Bowser and Barry are waiting for you.
