Zeus McGoose has stolen our hearts with his incredible floppy ears, beautiful golden-red coat, and adorable freckles. He's a truly handsome boy with expressive forehead wrinkles, making him look like he stepped right out of a storybook. Zeus is approximately 2 years old and weighs around 28 lbs, and we believe he might be a Cocker Spaniel mix. He's a sweet, fun, and easygoing companion who balances playfulness with affection perfectly. Zeus loves his squeaky toys, often carrying them around like little buddies, and enjoys lounging in the sun or just being part of whatever you're doing. He's a smart cookie who knows how to sit, has a gentle mouth when taking treats, and is eager to please, making training a joy. He's crate-trained and doing very well with potty training, with only rare accidents.
Ideal Home
Zeus would thrive in a home with a backyard where he can play with his toys, zoom around, and enjoy sunbaths. While he's been wonderful with smaller dogs in his foster home, we're open to introductions with dogs of any size to ensure a good fit. We haven't seen him with children yet, but we believe he has great potential as a family dog, especially for a family with older kids who would appreciate a goofy, toy-loving companion.

Zeus is up-to-date on all vetting, including vaccinations, deworming, flea and heartworm prevention.
Training & Support
Zeus is crate-trained and nearly house-trained, with very few accidents. He's eager to please and loves treats, making him a joy to train.

Transporation
Zeus is currently located in Texas. We offer nationwide transport via our USDA-certified rescue run system, with drop-off locations in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada (pick-up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters). Adopters in the Greater Houston area must pick up their pet directly from Texas.
