Amos

Amos is a nose to the ground kind of sniffer, ready to solve the latest crime scene, track an animal scent, or simply smell the roses on a walk with his new family. He's the sweetest of hound mixes with a short brindle coat and a shy disposition around cameras. Amos is definitely intimidated by the shelter environment and needs a family to provide him with a comfy indoor bed, delicious food, and affection. Once he has this welcoming environment, his tail will untuck, and he'll be content. Amos will flourish and shower his family with kindness once he knows he is loved and can trust that his new home is a forever one. He is approximately 4 years old and loves kids.

Amos is currently being treated for heartworm and is doing well with his treatment.

Training & Support

Amos will need to learn basic potty training skills. He is very smart and willing to learn, but he needs a patient owner who is willing to help him.
