Doug is a sweet senior dog looking for a comfy retirement home! He's a little bit of a couch potato and enjoys quiet afternoons. Doug is a gentle soul who would make a wonderful companion for someone seeking a calm and loving friend.

Doug would thrive in a home where he can relax and enjoy his golden years. A quiet environment would be ideal for him.

Ongoing Health

Doug is up to date on vaccinations, has been spayed/neutered, and is heartworm negative. He receives monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventative (age appropriate) and is dewormed regularly. He is also microchipped.

Training & Support

As a senior dog, Doug is likely past any boisterous puppy stages. He's ready for a lifetime of love and companionship.

• We do not do same-day adoptions.
• If you rent, a copy of your lease stating pets are allowed is needed.
• If you've had a pet in the last two years, provide that vet's information.
• If you've never owned a pet or it's been over two years, provide a personal reference.

Doug is located at our rescue center at 34 County Road 2266, Brundidge, AL 36010. We are not open to the public without an appointment.
