Angus is a 6-month-old, 60+ lb Bullmastiff mix who was found wandering near a creek. He's a big, goofy puppy who is still learning his own strength and how to walk nicely on a leash. He loves to explore the world with his mouth, so plenty of chew toys are a must! Angus is eager to play with other dogs, but due to his size and enthusiasm, he can be a bit much for smaller pups. He is definitely too energetic for cats. Because of his size and bouncy puppy nature, he would do best in an active household with older children who can handle his exuberance. Angus is already doggie-door trained and loves car rides, though he needs to be properly restrained for safety.

Ideal Home

Angus is looking for an active family with a well-fenced yard and plenty of time for playtime, training, and fun adventures. He would do best in a household with older children and cannot live with cats.

Ongoing Health

Angus is healthy and happy. He has been neutered, is up-to-date on all age-appropriate vaccines, is heartworm negative, and microchipped. He is current on flea, tick, heartworm, and parasite preventatives.

Training & Support

Angus is still learning leash manners and house-training, so patience and continued training will be essential. He explores with his mouth, so providing him with appropriate chew toys will be important.
