Panda the perfect doggy pal

Panda is a shy but sweet two-year-old, 50-pound Pittie mix who loves to relax with a chew bone and go for daily walks. He thrives on routine and structure, and his mellow nature earned him his name. Panda is a rescue dog who will reward you with endless unconditional love and gratitude. He adores toys, chew bones, and his walks, enjoying all the finer things in life.

Ideal Home

Panda would thrive in a quiet, serene suburban or rural home environment, preferably somewhere off the beaten path. He is looking for a home with another dog, as he draws confidence from canine companionship and has a special affinity for female dogs. He was previously fostered successfully with children aged 5 and up, and would do well in a home with little ones provided they are respectful and sweet. He is not recommended for a home with cats.

Ongoing Health

Panda is a rescue dog and will need a patient adopter to allow him a full decompression period. Our behavior team and his foster mom will be available to offer guidance and support during this time.

Training & Support

Panda is house-trained and kennel-trained. He is great on leash and enjoys tandem walks. He is also a seasoned professional passenger and settles well in the car. He enjoys snuggling and will slowly inch closer to you on the couch or bed, but is content in his kennel when you're away.

Transporation

Panda is currently in Texas but can be transported to various locations across the US and Canada. Transport is provided on USDA licensed vehicles with 24/7 care. There will be an additional $87 surcharge for transport.
