Millie is a resilient and loving pup who has overcome incredible adversity. Despite a past filled with cruelty, she's a true "Trash to Treasure" success story! Millie was found dumped in a pile of trash as a puppy and, tragically, it appears someone purposely cut off one of her back paws and attempted to do the same to the other. Her other back leg has a scar that suggests it may have been done with something like a zip tie. It's heartbreaking to think of the pain she endured, but Millie is a survivor. She's thriving, playful, and has a heart full of love for both people and other dogs. She enjoys tug-of-war and running around with her canine companions. Millie is estimated to be around five months old and currently weighs 14 pounds, but she's slowly gaining weight and we're working to get her to a healthy size. While we believe she might be a Weimaraner mix, her true breed is a mystery that may become clearer as she grows. What we do know is that Millie adores her toys, loves playing with other dogs, and enjoys snuggling on a warm lap. She's a wonderful pup who is so lucky to have been saved and given a second chance at a happy life. Millie is up to date on vaccinations for her age.
Ideal Home
A home where Millie can continue to gain weight and grow into a healthy, happy dog. She loves playing with other dogs, so a home with a canine friend would be wonderful, but it's not a requirement. She also loves to snuggle, so a lap to call her own is a must!
Ongoing Health
Millie is missing one of her back paws, and it has healed. She is also on the thin side and is working on gaining weight. She is up to date on vaccinations.
Training & Support
Millie loves to play and snuggle. Continuing to work on her weight gain and ensuring she has plenty of opportunities for play and affection will help her thrive.
