Meet Sandy! She's a one-year-old Lab/Pit Bull mix (best guess) with a stunning silvery-gray coat, an award-winning smile, and a heart that beats only for her people. If you're searching for a devoted companion, Sandy is your girl! She thrives on being an integral part of the family, following her favorite humans everywhere and participating in every activity. She's like a furry shadow, always present and ready to lend a paw (or a listening ear). Her favorite things include toys of all kinds – she loves to carry them, chew them, play fetch, and proudly present them. Sandy also gets the most adorable zoomies, especially in the morning when she's eager to start the day with her loved ones. She's incredibly food-motivated, making her a joy to train. Sandy is also a great crate companion, settling down quietly, and she's a wonderful passenger in the car, though she much prefers spending time at home with her family. She gets along well with other dogs, showing a particular fondness for smaller canine friends and respectfully navigating social cues. Sandy has even lived harmoniously with chickens!

- Before adoption finalization, you will meet your pet through a video call.
- The adoption fee is $1000 and includes all vetting, spay/neuter, microchip, health certificate, and transport costs.
- Adopters receive extensive behavioral testing information, discounts on DNA tests, 30 days of pet insurance with Trupanion, a free online dog training session with GoodPup, and discounts on in-person training through Rover Training.
- Additional perks include discounts on dog food subscriptions and pet first aid products, and access to an exclusive Facebook Adopters page.
- A $87 surcharge applies due to rising transportation costs.
Transporation
We facilitate adoptions nationwide using our rescue run USDA certified transport system. Our transport includes drop off locations in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI and Canada (pick up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters). Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
