About Diana Roman
Looking for a best friend who will keep you smiling, keep you active, and love you with her whole heart? Meet Diana! At just 5 months old, Diana is a Pit Terrier/Labrador Retriever mix with the sweetest soul and the cutest puppy personality. She's part of a litter of three and has all the playful energy you'd expect from a growing puppy, but she's a little more laid-back than her siblings. She has the perfect balance of zoomies, naps, and cuddle sessions, making her a wonderful companion for a family ready to continue helping her grow. If there's one thing Diana loves almost as much as food, it's affection. She absolutely thrives on attention and never turns down an opportunity for pets, praise, or quality time with her people. Whether she's soaking up belly rubs or proudly showing off a new trick, Diana's happiest when she's included in the fun. This smart girl is already proving she's eager to learn. She knows how to sit and has been picking up new commands incredibly quickly. During her content session, she was introduced to "paw," "lay down," and "stay," and she caught on impressively fast. She may not have them mastered just yet, but with consistency, patience, and positive reinforcement, there's no doubt she'll have them down in no time. Treats are her love language, making training both rewarding and fun for everyone involved. Diana is currently working on crate training and is doing very well. Potty training has been a little more challenging (as it is for many puppies her age) but she's making steady progress every day. She and her siblings are following a consistent routine that includes scheduled meals, crate time, playtime, and training sessions. The litter currently sleeps together and still wakes during the night for potty breaks, so her future family should be prepared to continue that routine while she matures. When mealtime rolls around, Diana is first in line! She's very food motivated and has a healthy appetite, which has been a huge advantage in her training. She's also learning important skills like impulse control and patiently waiting for her meals, another area where she's making wonderful progress! Diana currently lives with her siblings and a 7-year-old Staffordshire Terrier mix. Like many playful puppies, she assumes everyone wants to join the fun, so she'll occasionally chase after the older dog when he tries to walk away. She's simply learning appropriate play manners and continues to benefit from guidance, structure, and consistent boundaries. Like every puppy, Diana will need patience, love, and continued training as she grows into the incredible dog she's meant to be. She already has an amazing foundation, a willingness to learn, and a heart overflowing with love. With the right family to continue building her confidence and reinforcing her routine, Diana will blossom into a loyal, affectionate companion for years to come. If you're searching for a smart, loving puppy who's equal parts playful, cuddly, and eager to please, Diana is ready to become your newest family member!
