Meet Ker! Just a few weeks ago, Ker was a shy, uncertain puppy trying to figure out the world. Today, he's blossomed into a happy, loving boy who is ready to find his forever family! At around 7 months old, this handsome Lab mix has discovered just how much fun life can be. He loves all the classic puppy activities--chasing toys, zooming around the yard, splashing in a kiddie pool, and wrestling with his dog friends. Having another playful, confident dog in the home would be a huge bonus for Ker, as he absolutely lights up when he has a canine companion to play with. Ker has made incredible progress with his confidence. He recently spent the weekend meeting new people, including men, children, and another dog, and welcomed everyone with a wagging tail. He played gently with his new dog friend and loved every minute of it. Even the Fourth of July fireworks didn't seem to bother him. Inside the home, Ker is an absolute sweetheart. He's a total cuddle bug who loves curling up next to his people when he's finished playing. He's surprisingly mellow for a puppy and enjoys being part of whatever you're doing. Ker is crate trained, potty trained, and incredibly smart. He learns quickly and only needs gentle guidance once before he catches on. His foster family says he's been a dream first foster because he's eager to please and such an easy dog to have around. Ker has come so far in such a short time, and it's been amazing watching him blossom. His forever family is going to hit the jackpot with this sweet, affectionate, playful boy. All he needs now is someone to give him the chance he deserves.
Ideal Home
Ker will thrive in a home with another playful, confident dog. A home with older children would likely be the best fit due to his still-growing and slightly clumsy puppy nature.
Ongoing Health
No specific health conditions or procedures are mentioned.
Training & Support
Ker is crate trained and potty trained. He learns quickly and is eager to please, requiring only gentle guidance. While confident in his home and yard, he is still building confidence on walks and in new environments and will need a patient family willing to continue his socialization.
