Micaela

Micaela is a beautiful, approximately 2-year-old Husky mix who has overcome immense hardship. She arrived at the shelter in pain with a fractured jaw, significant misalignment, and bleeding gums, likely from old, untreated injuries that led to deep tissue infection and dead teeth. Despite her difficult past, Micaela is a resilient and gentle soul who leans into affection and watches her caregivers with grateful eyes. She is also heartworm positive but is currently undergoing slow-kill treatment, which is a safe and steady path to recovery. Micaela is expected to live a completely normal, pain-free life and is now ready to find her forever home.
