Hazel is a 10-month-old sweetheart with big, beautiful brown eyes. She came to us in November 2025 with her siblings, who quickly found their forever homes, but Hazel was unfortunately overlooked. She's a gentle soul who loves to be by your side, becoming your ever-present shadow. Hazel adores other dogs, no matter their size, and is currently enjoying her foster stay at a sanctuary near the Texas/Mexico border while she waits for her perfect match. This amazing girl is both house and crate trained and would be a fantastic addition to a family with children.
Ideal Home
Hazel is looking for an active family who loves the outdoors. Her absolute favorite thing in the world is water! Whether it's hiking to a lake, a trip to the ocean, or even just a small bucket, Hazel is ready for a splash. If you're seeking a joyful companion for aquatic adventures, Hazel is your girl! She also does well with kitties and other dogs.
Ongoing Health
Hazel is spayed, heartworm negative, up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccinations, and current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention. She has also been dewormed and will receive a clean bill of health from a licensed veterinarian before transport.
Training & Support
Hazel is house and crate trained. She's a gem who loves to please and will thrive with continued love and attention.
