Meet High Country Dobermans. Melody Couture is from New Hampshire and breeds Doberman Pinschers. We have pups available. ready for their forever homes 7/12/2025 Welcome to High Country Dobermans, Goffstown NH Mel Couture / Bonnie McCullough My love affair with Dobermans started as a young girl as my brother bred and raised them. I got my very own Doberman at the age of 12. Always having males, I got my first female Shelby in 2015 from Bonnie McCullough the founder of High Country Dobermans. With her guidance we together continue our love affair with this amazing breed. Bonnie first started this line in the mid 80s keeping daughter after daughter, breeding for size, quality, health and most important temperament. We continue to choose well-built xl studs with exceptional temperaments to create this line and it shows through to our current litters. Some of the earlier lines were well know lines in the US and in the past 10-15 years she has used all import studs or studs that were mostly import, mostly from Altobello and Kimbertal who import their studs from Serbia and surrounding countries. This makes our pups about 1/4 American/3/4 euro which is a really nice combination for looks and temperament. Our females usually mature at 80-110 lbs., males 90-130 lbs.. They look euro but with the edge taken off the temperament. Many breeders advertise all import lines or 100% import which are usually high drive, high energy working lines and can be hard to handle if you don’t know what you are doing. Most families we have found are looking for a companion type Doberman with the capability to deter if necessary, which these are. They are highly trainable and when socialized properly a very loyal loving companion pet. These pups are raised in our clean homes, no kennels, and highly socialized before they leave with kids, other pets, friends and family and all the noises of a normal household. Our adults are our pets and never sold when they are done breeding. We have many many repeat customers and references.
