Meet Hershey!
Hershey, or "Hershey Kisses" as we affectionately call her, is a charming chocolate-colored lady with the build of a tiny, lovable land hippo! She's a thick, stocky tank of pure affection, boasting a heart as big as her adorable bulldog booty. Hershey is ready to melt into your life and become your most devoted companion.
She's a pro at indoor living, being crate-trained and truly believing she was meant for the cozy comforts of home. Her ideal day involves lounging in her crate, snuggling up on the couch, shadowing her favorite human from room to room, and soaking in all the love she can get. While she enjoys short walks and is happy to accompany you for a stroll, Hershey's true passion is indoor lounging, followed by quick potty breaks.
This affectionate Velcro girl craves closeness with her people. Need a bathroom buddy? Hershey's on it. Need an alarm clock? Prepare for enthusiastic face kisses! Looking for a professional couch snuggler? Hershey is your girl!
In her foster home, Hershey has shown she can coexist with indoor cats, often choosing to give them a wide berth. She's also been a sweetheart around a 9-month-old baby. Her only "quirk" is her enthusiasm during cuddles; sometimes her sturdy frame might accidentally flatten someone in her excitement to show affection!
Ideal Home
Hershey would thrive in a calm, predictable environment, ideally in a rural setting. She would do best as the only dog in the household and prefers to avoid dog parks, crowded places, and busy social situations.
Ongoing Health
Hershey is spayed, microchipped, fully vaccinated, and up-to-date on flea, tick, and heartworm prevention.
Training & Support
Hershey is crate-trained and already understands the joys of indoor living. Her main "training" need is for her humans to be prepared for her enthusiastic cuddle style!
