Jack

Jack is a gentle, sweet, male Australian Shepherd mix with a merle (blue) coat. He is an adult dog who is still learning to feel comfortable indoors and can be a little skittish in new situations. Jack spent most of his life as a street dog and may not have always been treated kindly by people, making him understandably cautious around new humans. Despite his past, he has remained incredibly gentle and kind-hearted. He does well with children and other animals, showing a sweet nature that shines through once he feels safe.

Ideal Home

Jack would thrive in a home with a large, secure yard where he can stretch his legs, explore, and enjoy the freedom he is accustomed to. He also would benefit greatly from having another confident, friendly dog in the home to help show him that people can be trusted and that life with a loving family is something special. He needs a home that will move at his pace, giving him the time and space to build trust and come out of his shell on his own terms.

Jack is neutered and vaccinated.

Training & Support

Jack is house-trained. He needs a patient and understanding family to help him discover how wonderful life can be and to help him build trust.
