Mocha is a sweet 3-year-old who may be a bit shy at first. With the right patience and love, she will absolutely flourish into a wonderful companion. She loves spending time outdoors and is fully crate-trained. While she can get along with other dogs given the proper introduction, it’s important to handle her transition carefully. Mocha was rescued during a cold winter spell when she and her puppies were abandoned in downtown Amarillo. Thankfully, some compassionate individuals stepped up to care for her puppies, but Mocha needed to be safely trapped to ensure her rescue. Within just 20 minutes, she was drawn into the trap, cold and hungry, and was brought to safety.
Ideal Home
Mocha enjoys spending time outdoors and will thrive in a home that can provide her with opportunities to explore. While she can get along with other dogs, her transition into a multi-dog household should be handled carefully.
Ongoing Health
Mocha's adoption fee includes her spay, current vaccinations (rabies, 4 parvo/distemper boosters, and Bordetella), negative heartworm test (if 6+ mths old at transport), negative fecal within 14 days of transport, health certificate within 10-days of transport, registered microchip.
Training & Support
Mocha is fully crate-trained. Careful introduction to other dogs is recommended.

- As a direct adoption, the adoption interview/meet and greet would take place on a video call.
- The adoption application and fee would be finalized & paid in full prior to receiving your dog.
