Penny Love is an approximately 1.5-year-old, 70 lb Lab mix with an effortless charm that makes her feel like an instant classic. She's easygoing, kind-hearted, and possesses a steady, loving presence. Penny Love is the total package: beautiful, dog-friendly, cat-friendly, and blessed with a calm, balanced temperament that makes life alongside her feel simple and comfortable. She's the kind of companion who fits seamlessly into your world and quickly becomes the best part of your everyday routine. Penny has been an absolute dream in her foster home, with a beautifully laid-back energy. She's not constantly on the go, but rather enjoys relaxing and being near her people. She has that rare "young dog with an old soul" vibe, making her feel easy and comforting to be around. While she loves being close to her humans, she's not clingy or overwhelming, content to keep you company from nearby.
Ideal Home
Penny Love will do best in a home with a calm, mature doggy friend who is respectful of her space. If you don't have other dogs, Penny is also perfectly fine being the only pet and will happily be the center of your attention. She is also cat-friendly and would do well in a home with a cat that has a similar aloof and independent temperament. Penny would love a home with a nice big backyard where she can roam, play with her toys, and relax in the sun, but she also has the potential to thrive in an apartment due to her mellow nature.
Ongoing Health
Penny Love is up-to-date on all vetting, which includes DAPP with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad-spectrum deworming treatments, flea prevention, a 12-month heartworm preventative injection, and a heartworm test. She has also been spayed and microchipped with free lifetime registration.
Training & Support
Penny Love is working on getting more comfortable with a crate every day. She enjoys treats and is learning basic commands such as "sit." She is potty trained and has wonderful house manners, being respectful in the home.

Transporation
Penny Love is located at our Texas-based property. We facilitate adoptions nationwide using our USDA-certified transport system, ensuring every pet travels safely and comfortably. Drop-off locations are available in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada (pick-up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters). A $87 surcharge applies for transportation.
