Trout

Meet Trout! This handsome guy, estimated to be around 2 years old and weighing 54 lbs, had a rough start and found himself on the euthanasia list at a local shelter. Thankfully, his foster mom stepped in and saved his life, and we're all so lucky she did! Trout is a surprisingly chill companion who enjoys both outdoor adventures and serious couch-flopping. While he might be a bit shy at first, he warms up quickly and becomes a loyal friend. He's kennel and potty trained, walks well on a leash, and knows how to sit. He gets along great with other dogs of all sizes and loves people.

Ideal Home

Trout's dream home would include him in all sorts of adventures, from camping trips to lazy evenings by the fire. We're not sure how he'd do with cats, as he gets a little too interested in them on walks.

Ongoing Health

Trout is currently undergoing heartworm treatment. He is fully vetted, neutered, and up-to-date on preventatives. He absolutely despises taking medicine, so be prepared for a challenge if he needs any in the future!

Training & Support

Trout is already kennel trained, potty trained, and walks beautifully on leash. He also knows how to "sit." He's a smart cookie who can be a bit tricky when it comes to taking medication.

Transporation

Trout is being fostered in Houston, Texas, and will be ready for transport to his forever home in mid-to-late July. He is available for transport to many areas across the country.
