About Bluey

My name is Bluey, and I'm a 16-pound handsome boy with dreamy brown eyes! I'm a professional cuddler and love to curl up in your arms. I'm working on gaining a little weight, and my foster mom has me on a delicious food plan. I love to play fetch and tug-of-war, and I share my toys with other dogs. I need to be fed separately from other dogs, as I can get protective of my food, but I only growl, I don't bite. I can be a little shy in new places, but I'm a great walker and stroll like a gentleman. I'm still working on my comfort in stores and noisy places, and I'm not a fan of the vet, but I'm learning to be more relaxed if you go slow and ask permission. Grooming at home went well! I might howl along to music and TV, but my foster mom is teaching me to use my "inside voice." I'll politely tap your arm for belly rubs and will continue until I get them. I'm very smart and already know SIT, DOWN, COME, and OFF. I'm a little shy in new places and would love a confident dog buddy to show me the ropes. I can hold my potty every 2 to 3 hours, and routine is key for my success. I'm wearing belly bands currently to prevent marking and will be neutered on 4-15-26. The vet believes this will help lessen my urge to mark.

Ideal Home

I need another confident dog in the home to teach me the ways of the world. I need to be fed separately from other dogs.

Ongoing Health

I am currently working on gaining weight. I will be neutered on 4-15-26.

Training & Support

I'm working on my "inside voice" when music or TV is on. I can be shy in new places, stores, and noisy environments. I do not like when you squeeze my paws.
