Meet Twizzler, a gentle 12-pound senior Pomeranian mix with a huge heart. Though estimated to be around 8 years old and possibly 10 or older, his exact age is unknown. After losing the only home he knew because of his owner's health, Twizzler is ready for a cozy new chapter filled with kindness and love.

Twizzler is friendly with everyone, including small children. He enjoys meeting other dogs and peacefully coexisting with them, and he is likely fine with cats. This mellow little companion loves curling up under cozy blankets, being held like a baby, and enjoying couch cuddles. His foster reports only light shedding.

Ideal Home

Twizzler would thrive with a loving family that appreciates senior dogs and can provide regular potty breaks. He cannot reliably hold his urine all day or night, and belly bands have worked well for him. His future family should be prepared for changing senior needs, possible additional veterinary care, and extra patience over time.

Ongoing Health

Twizzler is getting a dental before adoption. He is neutered and vaccinated.

Training & Support

Twizzler seems to be housetrained and kennel trained when kept on a schedule. He is a calm, affectionate snuggle bug who enjoys being gently rocked and spoiled.
