Chip is about a year old, around 53 pounds, and an American Bully mix with a build like a tank but a heart of marshmallow. He has the classic bully look with a big head and sturdy frame, and a face that instantly draws people in for pets, which he happily accepts. Chip is confident, social, and loves to be involved in everything. He greets everyone with enthusiasm and approaches life with joy. Life with Chip is anything but boring! He’s a toy hoarder, a champion splooter, and emotionally available, though also a little dramatic – a fair trade for the entertainment he provides. He plays hard, makes you laugh, and then collapses into a snoring, upside-down heap after a long day. He loves walks and playtime, and would choose a rope toy over most responsibilities. He’s also a big fan of water and tug-of-war! Chip is smart, crate trained, potty trained, and knows his commands. He responds well to structure and has a strong desire to please, needing a consistent partner to help him succeed.
Ideal Home
Chip would thrive in a home that appreciates a dog with a big personality. An active and engaged adopter who is ready for a dog to be a central part of their life would be perfect. He can live with other dogs after proper introductions and currently coexists with a cat without issue. Homes with children 10 years and older are recommended for the best fit for both pet and family. He is not a background or low-energy dog; he's unforgettable and the kind of dog you’ll build your routine around, loving every second of it.
