POSEY

Posey is a sweet boy who clearly wants to connect with people, even when he's feeling unsure of the world. He was described as easy to handle and affectionate by his previous caretaker, and his sweet personality has only continued to blossom since arriving at the shelter. While he can be a little nervous initially, Posey warms up quickly with kindness and patience. He'll offer soft tail wags, lean in for pets, and happily ask for "lovins" from his favorite humans. He enjoys car rides, meeting new people, and has shown he can read other dogs' social cues well during interactions.

Once he settles in, Posey's playful and goofy side shines through! He's curious, social, and happiest when he's out of the kennel and able to relax around people. Shelter life has been stressful for him at times, but outside of the kennel, he consistently shows how friendly and loving he truly is. Posey seems like the kind of dog who will thrive in a home that can provide structure, reassurance, and time to fully decompress into the affectionate companion he's clearly trying so hard to be.

All adopted pets are vaccinated, microchipped, and spayed/neutered before leaving the shelter's care.
